First, I am a born and raised Minnesotan who loves the loons. That said, my fiancé is from Dallas and my sister lives there too. Each year I continue to get more into MLS from a macro level. I stumble across the striker texas one day and I am glad it did. I am a big believer in their project and this podcast is a highlight of my week. Cheers!
Really enjoy Jon Arnold, Victor Araiza, and Chris Bils talking weekly about FC Dallas, Houston Dynamo and Austin FC. They fill you in on what’s going on with MLS clubs in Texas and also provide some good tips for where to grab a bite to eat as they travel to each MLS city. I’ve checked out some of these recommendations myself. Listen to the podcast and get a subscription to the Striker Texas for the best local MLS coverage.
Love the content and love the focus and analysis of Texas teams that the Striker brings. If the production and sound quality could be improved, then it would be an exemplary show. But sometimes I can’t listen to an episode because of the bad zoom audio with an entire street of vehicles and bars or lobby music in the background. It’s just too distracting
really digestible podcast (usually around 30 mins) that discuss the three MLS teams in depth w/reporters that cover them daily. i’m a subscriber to their website as well, highly recommended, at least as an Austin FC fan (I’ll assume their other pieces are of equal quality as well). keep up the great work!
It's awesome to hear the most plugged in MLS writers in Texas talking about their respective teams and comparing progress. Highly recommended.
