Honestly, I wanted a true review of the shows and content. However it seems like they are incapable of saying anything truly critical of any Star Wars Show or product. Most recently, Tales of the Underworld. Show was wildly underwhelming for want of could be but they just sand its praises. I get it, I love any and all Star Wars content but you have to admit it when something falls flat. If you can’t see that a show like The Acolyte is just a poorly executed show, you’re kinda blind.

  • Used to love this podcast

Used to love this podcast but it got to political and they don’t seem to criticize any shows or movies. Sometimes things are good and sometimes they aren’t it doesn’t have to be political.

Live From Rebel Scum Con 2026! | The SWU Podcast LIVE
Q: How much of Mando and Grogu will spill over into Ahsoka Season 2?
The hosts speculate that some elements may cross over, but strongly suggest keeping Ahsoka as its own strong narrative, with potential Zeb appearances and selective crossovers that do not derail the standalone storytelling of Ahsoka.
Discussing The Worlds Of 'The Mandalorian And Grogu' | The SWU Podcast
Q: Hex Howell asks about Sony moving away from physical games and what that means for the future of physical media.
The panel discusses digital dominance across platforms, the trade-offs of owning versus licensing, and the potential long-term impacts on consumer rights and access, noting that while digital offers convenience, it reduces portability and personal ownership, which could prompt pushback and demand for hybrid solutions or better ownership guarantees.
The Mandalorian & Grogu: One Week Later | The SWU Podcast
Q: What's your new favorite Star Wars track from the Mandalorian & Grogu soundtrack?
The Shikari theme is highlighted as a favorite for its catchy techno rhythm, with Rada's theme also praised for its distinct mood and energy.
The Mandalorian & Grogu: One Week Later | The SWU Podcast
Q: Hello, Vlad. How long do Hutts live, and is Rada middle-aged in the movie or still a teen in Hut years?
They estimate Hutts live for centuries, placing Rada in an early 20s vibe despite Hut lifespan, with some back-and-forth about alien aging being subservient to narrative needs.
The SWU Podcast LIVE | 27/03/26
Q: What is the absolute worst order to introduce someone to Star Wars, and what would be the best starter today?
Opinions vary by person, but several hosts suggest avoiding starting with A New Hope for everyone, arguing that Andor and Rogue One offer a modern entry point that still connects to the broader saga, while The Mandalorian can work for some audiences; the best entry point depends on the learner's background and interests.
