I give this to stars because I listen to the episode of Dakota Johnson, and they made very fair points about the Nepo baby conversation. However, as a Native person their “land acknowledgment” should just be taken out because the lack of effort behind it is unsettling. Also, the episode about Taylor Swift sidestepping a controversy at the Super Bowl. One would assume it was about supporting a team with a racist mascot. Love this podcast and listen to almost every episode. However I have started noticing Laura makes at least one unwarranted condescending or snide comment towards Em Vernan each episode. I’m surprised producers don’t pick up on it in the editing process and continue to allow it to happen. Not here for the mean girl vibes.
This podcast has become my daily check in on my way to work. 95% of the time they are discussing one of my must hear topics. They keep it short and sweet which happens to last my entire drive to work. All in all it’s the perfect little podcast to start my work day.
