a good pod. They let each other talk without too much interruption and they have great psychological, philosophical, and artistic analysis. Humor, too. Much better than the other pod with the famous guys which is just impossible to listen to with any pleasure. Well done. But Lily is super annoying and the episodes are better without her.
Love this Podcast a lot. But when I got to the 6A retrospective, and they decided to record with their baby not only in the room…but practically on the mic… I mean you gotta do what you gotta do but that has to be an all time podcast sin.
Am rewatching sopranos now that I’m older and wiser and the commentary these guys bring is spot on to how I feel and how perspectives change. Great observations and things to noodle on!
Nerds who tie too much of their identity to the shows they watch and get angry at anyone who doesn't blindly glaze the show and everyone involved with it. Decent analysis though.
Some of their commentary makes me laugh out loud. It’s wonderful how they tap into the fact that this show is a dark comedy in many ways and I appreciate their commentary. I love how they bring a fresh take to it and I say this as someone who has watched sopranos at least 15 times.
So glad you’re back

Listeners can expect rigorous, thoughtful discourse that blends literary and cinematic critique with accessible pop-cultural insight, delivered through a roundtable format that values thoughtful disagreement and clear persuasion. A notable strength is the group's ability to connect episode-level dynamics to broader human questions, making it appealing to both hardcore fans and new viewers seeking a guided, intelligent rewatch.
