I’ll listen here and there depending on the guests but the question “how many friends have you lost in the mountains” is inappropriate. It feels unempathetic. Imagine losing a best friend or partner and someone asking you about it nonchalantly. Love to hear more women guests and less questions, more normal conversational flow. It does get me fired up for ski season when the topic and guests and interesting. The doctor that spoke about knee replacements was very helpful.
Love the podcast and all of the stories that come out during the conversation. Please please just change one thing with your
questions. Only ask how many days did you skied last year once. You always ask it a second time and it is often within a minute of asking it the first time. It just comes off as scripted and robotic. Otherwise keep up the great job.
If you’re into skiing or other winter sports, you’ll love this podcast. Miles is a great host and always has on interesting guests. I always want to hit the slopes after listening to a Snow Brains podcast!
