  • Hypocrites

Content not bad but just flat out hypocritical when it comes to the environment! These people always talk about the climate and sustainability but they jet set around the globe, laying a huge carbon footprint!

But always telling us how we have to sacrifice to save the planet

  • Not excited to say this.

Have listened to almost every episode since 2019 and this show’s turned into an uninspired glaze fest with hosts whose success has done a number on their egos. Sorry to have to say it.

  • Top notch

Great interviewing skills, skilled and knowledgeable girls and dudes, lots of industry insight, … , makes for one of the best out there, if not THE best ski gear podcast. Only wish you’d cover more snowboarding gear too guys (I do both).

  • Public landsPeak skis(#2)

Good episode. I do wonder why JE doesn’t mention former employees of Peak? Considering Blister has employees. As opposed to athletes, vendors, partners only.

  • Peak

Normally love all of your channels and stuff. But a bit disappointed in the Peak piece. Usually you’re far more insightful and nuanced than that. It felt mostly like Jonathan was defending his friends who were wronged. Not defending Peak at all, just was hoping for more than what it was.

Q: What is your approach to gear and how has it evolved?
I focus on using a single ski and ensuring I know how it will react, rather than switching between skis.
The Pro's Gear: Marcus Goguen, 2025 Freeride World Tour Champion
Q: How does your gear change between competitions and casual skiing?
I use the Rossi Sender Free 110s as my go-to ski in all conditions, and for competitions, I emphasize a reliable ski setup.
Your Questions: Our Favorite Skis This Season; Big vs Small Brands; Quiver Overlap; & More
Q: What would you recommend for someone finding themselves spending more time skiing slowly on groomers?
Look for a ski with a tight sidecut radius and a design that allows for easy turns at slow speeds.
Reviewer Reports: New Head Kores, Ski Boots, & One Age-Old Question
Q: In your experience over the years and for any boot fitters listening out there, where are we today in terms of the sort of more the, I don't know if we want to say the general public or is the general skiing public in a boot that's too soft or too stiff?
I think it's probably more accurate that they're in boots that are too soft. I think more people are probably dealing with an improper fit than they are like a flex pattern that is absolutely detrimental to their skiing.
Reviewer Reports: New Head Kores, Ski Boots, & One Age-Old Question
Q: If you had to choose for the rest of your life, being in a ski boot, that is, it's hard. How do I want to phrase this? We could go, we could start with a little too stiff or a little too soft. Which would you pick?
I would say definitely too soft because in a boot that's too soft, I can still achieve a balanced stance.
