  • Thanks Jonny

A really cool conversation. The mogul event in 2002 Salt Lake Olympics was heart breaking. Yes, the dinner roll was the icing on the cake of probably the best mogul run I’ve ever seen. - Lighting

  • Jet setting the world! Leaving a huge carbon footprint compared to the average Joe!

From the leftist political perspectives to the hypocrisy concerning Johnathan & Cody’s climate footprint as they capitalize profit while telling everyone else they need to reduce their footprint the hypocrisy is outstanding! Stick to skiing & gear!

  • Sooo good!

Long over due rating. Been listening for years and always get reminded to write a review then by the time I get to a place I can I forget. Not today! Keep up the great work love all your channels, except maybe crafted as I end up spending more money:) thanks for being balanced and offering different perspectives.

  • BOSS

I love the show and enjoyed the BOSS conversation. Back in his day, Glenn Plake would have certainly made a run at the BOSS title! Also, I didn’t totally agree with your take on not opening on Thanksgiving. As soon as we can ski, I want to be out there.

This may be because I’m predominately an east coast skier.

Stories from the Field: Caroline Gleich, McKenna Peterson, Anne Wangler, & Sierra Schlag
Q: What advice would you give to women pursuing ski careers in a male-dominated industry?
Love what you do, prioritize fun over stress, and don't be afraid to challenge power structures or ask for what you deserve, including fair pay and leadership opportunities.
Stories from the Field: Caroline Gleich, McKenna Peterson, Anne Wangler, & Sierra Schlag
Q: How does an all-women's crew change the dynamic in the mountains compared to mixed crews?
Communication is smoother, intuition aligns more readily, and there's a greater openness to discuss insecurities and push together with shared trust and support.
Stories from the Field: Caroline Gleich, McKenna Peterson, Anne Wangler, & Sierra Schlag
Q: What's your mindset going into those big, scary lines, and how do you evaluate fear versus risk?
I listen to my gut, assess red flags, and remember that fear can be a signal to slow down or back off; it's okay to start within my comfort zone and build up gradually with more experience and trust in the teammates.
Mia Jones, 2026 Freeride World Tour Women's Snowboard Champion, FIS Freeride World Champion, & FWT Rookie of the Year
Q: Balancing a demanding sport with college life is tough. How did Dartmouth fit into your plans, and what's your study focus?
I chose Dartmouth to escape the same lifelong routines, keep my options open, and study mechanical engineering. The quarter-system helped me balance intense travel with classes, and the school's support for athletes allowed me to train and study, including a fall term in Copenhagen for an engineering exchange program, which broadened my perspective.
Mia Jones, 2026 Freeride World Tour Women's Snowboard Champion, FIS Freeride World Champion, & FWT Rookie of the Year
Q: What stood out about the Alaska event at Haines, and how did slough management influence your decision-making?
Alaska was a major turning point: the terrain demanded constant control and careful line selection. We were repeatedly reminded that slough management would be judged, so I looked for lines that minimized exposure and allowed me to stay in control from top to bottom. This approach helped me stay calm under pressure and ride a clean, confident run.
