  • So encouraging!

I listen to stay encouraged to keep praying for my Atheist, Agnostic and pseudo-Christian cult family members. Fan of Nancy Pearcey (read her book years ago), and was so excited when she came on to share her journey from moral relativism to Christianity.

  • Weak

There is a lot of weak reasoning on display by converts. Example: Realizing that places mentioned in the Bible actually existed doesn’t prove the Bible’s reliability on all things historical. And the host is rather awkward.

A Skeptic Reconsiders God – Chris Wright’s Story (a/k/a Courageous Chris) | Ep. 142
Q: Have you been looking for a way to go deeper in your faith?
Yes. I encountered apologetics, studied under Christian scholars, and eventually embraced a Christian worldview because the arguments and resources felt coherent and compelling.
A Curious Mind – Matt Schmidt’s Story
Q: What practical guidance do you offer to Christians who want to talk about these topics in everyday life?
He emphasizes knowing four core questions about Jesus: who he is, whether he rose from the dead, whether the apostles' testimony is trustworthy, and how we obtain and translate Scriptures.
A Curious Mind – Matt Schmidt’s Story
Q: What was your path from skepticism to faith like, and what role did the Bible and history play in that journey?
He explains moving from atheism to theism and finally to Christianity, driven by questions about nothingness, morality, and the historical reliability of the Bible, including discovering affirmative biblical manuscript evidence.
A Curious Mind – Matt Schmidt’s Story
Q: As we're getting started, Matt, tell us a little about who you are and the work you're involved with.
Matt introduces Engage 360, his background, and the focus on helping everyday Christians share their faith through conversations, apologetics, and education.
Finding Truth – Nancy Pearcey’s Story
Q: What did you perceive that to be?
At that point, I saw religion as something that let me down, which made me turn to Eastern religions.
