  • Content good, format annoying

Love the content, but when one person is speaking, and the listener interjects with “mhmm” and “yeah” every few seconds, it’s quite distracting from what the speaker is saying.

  • Stimulating, Accessable and Practable

To have a husband and wife interact with the complicated data and research regarding human and often aging sexual couples is of great value and serves us well. Dr. morgentaler’s book Testosterone for Life is a must read for guys. It has helped me articulate my low T symptoms to my Urologist. Dr. Marianne’s expertise in sex therapy in helping couples is so very much needed to complete the overall picture. The candor and easy conversation they have makes you feel like you are a part of their famil... more

The Biggest Testosterone Therapy Lies Online Explained by Top Harvard Urologist
Q: My initial total T was 345. I felt great on TRT with 100 mg weekly. Is that dose typical, and what does it mean if levels fluctuate?
Response varies by patient and cycle timing. A dose of 100 mg weekly can be effective for some, but individual needs differ. If a reading is unexpectedly high, reassess where in the cycle the blood was drawn and consider dose adjustment rather than stopping treatment, as many patients benefit from continued therapy when properly managed.
The Biggest Testosterone Therapy Lies Online Explained by Top Harvard Urologist
Q: My PCP discontinued my testosterone replacement therapy because my last total T lab was 1200 mg/dL. Was this the correct choice or should he have just lowered my weekly dose?
Discontinuing due to a single high reading is not necessary; rising or peak levels can occur depending on where you are in the injection cycle. It's often better to repeat the test closer to the end of the cycle and adjust the dose if needed, rather than stopping therapy outright.
Why Gen Z Are Choosing Not to Have Kids
Q: Does taking lipid-lowering medicines affect my natural testosterone, and can I take TRT while taking lipid-lowering medicine?
The speakers explain that studies on statins and testosterone are mixed, but any effect is likely minor; they commonly prescribe testosterone to patients on statins when symptomatic, so there's no inherent contraindication.
What Happens When Testosterone Drops? A Top Harvard Urologist Explains
Q: Some clinicians are microdosing PDE-5 inhibitors for men without clear ED. Is there a legitimate rationale for daily low-dose tadalafil, and could this be beneficial as a preventative measure?
Daily low-dose tadalafil can keep a baseline vasodilation and endothelium conditioning, potentially reducing functional barriers to erections without timing concerns. It's used by many in sexual medicine circles, though long-term preventive benefits require individualized assessment and awareness of potential side effects.
What Happens When Testosterone Drops? A Top Harvard Urologist Explains
Q: A symptomatic man has a total T of 450 NG/dL. Is there any defensible clinical scenario where you would prescribe testosterone here, or is that outside evidence-based medicine?
Yes. If free testosterone is low despite a normal total testosterone, patients can still be symptomatic, so treating based on free testosterone may be appropriate in selected cases. The EMAS data show symptoms track with low free testosterone, not necessarily with total testosterone, so treatment can be justified when free testosterone is low and clinically warranted.
