The Rush looks at the different ways our brains get the biochemical rush we crave. Sugar. Fame. Fear. Stimulants. Sex. We all have some sort of behaviour that triggers our high. Part Louis Theroux, part Morgan Spurlock, The Rush takes you on a thrilling, experiential adventure into how, and why, we crave what we do.

Once I got over the disappointment of Louis Theroux not being in it (I misread haha) I really recommend this! So interesting and the hosts aren’t annoying at all!
Really like the fly on the wall parts of this show - sharing someone throw themselves into situations to get answers. Sound design is ace, Josh has a really nice voice so it’s easy to listen to, and I felt like I learnt stuff without being lectured. It’s a serious art to do story telling AND journalism without compromising one for the other. 10/10.
The show is great, some very interesting information and format. Just disappointed there are shows about alcohol and drug addiction cut with ads for alcoholic products
Super impressed with this podcast. Love Josh’s whole approach. Funny, engaging and open minded. Looking forward to more..
