Ran across this podcast looking for rock podcasts and saw posts on Handsome Dick Manitoba. Big fan of the Dictators. Did't even realize HDM was still doing music. Used to follw his podcast when it was around. Well, this podcast led me to HDM's site. Bought a t-shirt but the last CD is sold out. Need to get it somewhere else. Anyway, doing a deep dive of R&R Geekn show now.
Perfect
Started listening in 2013. Spent that entire summer catching up with the old ones. Lived through Mad At Dad.
I love this guy. And you will too. Do yourself a favor…
You’re a real rock fan, this is for you. Superb music, amazing host, delicious comedy! Horns up rockers!
Been listening to Michael Butler for years now and he is always entertaining. If you love Unscripted rock and roll banter with historical RnR knowledge , a mix of home life, sounds of a fresh cold can of Tecate opening and the sigh of relief, then the RnRG show is for you.

A long-running, personality-driven rock and roll show that blends album discussions, live-style storytelling, travelogues, and fan call-ins. Episodes mix candid riffs on classic and contemporary rock, personal life updates, travel adventures, and audience contributions, creating a casual, conversational vibe. Notable strengths include a well-seasoned host with deep rock knowledge, aLoose, humorous tone, and a strong listener-creator community that contributes stories, feedback, and donations. The format often centers on live-adjacent experiences (concerts, road trips, behind-the-scenes anecdotes) rather than formal interviews, making it appealing to fans who want music history, banter, and firsthand touring tales.
