Around the NFL is the best sports podcast that I’ve ever heard. This captures what’s good about it much better than Heed the Call does. Well thought out takes on football, minimization of bits & silliness, diversity in content. Posts too often is my only real complaint. Like way way too often.
I like it, it’s to hard to listen to all of the episodes so I just listen to some and it is good just sometimes I find it hard to follow because they say so much information about a the teams and some of the teams I don’t know much about.
I was new-ish to football when I started this podcast and I have gained so much knowledge from it. It’s accessible to the masses while not being too simple. Very interesting and great takes / info. I especially love the news catch-ups throughout/at the end. Keep up the good work Gregg & co! Bring Colleen and Steve on more pls!
If you are looking for objective journalism and coverage, this is not the place.
The NFL signs their paychecks and the podcast carries the shield’s water.

This should be titled the Gregg Rosenthal vanity project. The show exists purely for Gregg to attempt to prove he is smarter than his colleagues, guests and audience. He’s more concerned about being right than entertaining his listeners. The host is not knowledgeable enough to match it with the likes of Robert Mays or Bill Barnwell, but not fun enough to match his former co-hosts. Instead we get an ego fuelled vehicle of self-indulgent smug.

A fast-paced NFL analysis show featuring a rotating cast of prominent analysts who break down daily league news, trades, and scouting insights.
