I’m a little bit behind and watching the show, but I had some questions on what was going on and I found this podcast this morning. Mary and Blake are a blast to listen to, and I was able to find the answers is I was looking for. Cheers!
Crazy overexcited female ruins potentially good podcast
I don’t even watch this show (not because I don’t want to, but because life kept getting in the way and my partner is not a fantasy fan) but I love the fun, light banter between Mary & Blake so much that I don’t even mind not knowing what they’re talking about.
All that to say - I love these two, especially when they start getting SUPER nerdy and reference other shows or personal anecdotes. They always knock it out of the PAHK!
Long time listener to the Mary and Blake podcasts, and their Rings of Power podcast is just as marvelous as the rest of the lineup. I have a toddler who is often awake when I’m watching the TV show, and often miss plot subtleties. Good thing I have Mary and Blake to keep me caught up on the important details!
I liked the first few episodes of season 2. However, once these two said that Annatar wanted to be discovered as Sauron by Celebrimbor after his transformation from Halbrand in Eregion, I stopped listening. What a stupid thing to say. Makes no sense. If the hosts want their listeners to commit to listen to hour long podcasts, they must prepare. The lack of preparation is obvious.
