  • Talking about something important

History is something that matters, and I was heartened to hear of Eli’s strong interest in history and the way things used to be. We have been here before. Now I have to go find that AI to compose my own song! Good luck to you all.

  • Chicks on the Right is a travesty

Well, as far as boot-licking cheerleading goes, Chicks on the Right is top notch. When it comes to thoughtful analysis and honest discussion, it is a travesty of a dumpster fire. If a person wanted this much persecution complex and nonsensical gibberish, they should go straight to the source of Trump’s own statements.

  • Camel-ah? (WTHGO)

Aug 22, 2024 & conservatives still insist on this. Why do conservatives insist on just being super petty? It’s either that or you’re just very well paid stupid people. Or racist. Is it racism? Whatever it is, you’re petty and small.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Call Me Back: Israel’s President, Isaac Herzog
Q: Do you think this is going to be the most important decision of your career?
It's a very heated issue, and I intend to act responsibly, without bias, towards anything.
The Libertarian: Can the President Fire Anyone? SCOTUS Hears Arguments in Trump v. Slaughter
Q: Can I ask one more question before we go? You mentioned the Federal Reserve. That case is pending too. Is there any argument for that other than cowardice?
Not cowardice, prudence. The court may believe in avoiding political abuse associated with the Federal Reserve, which could manipulate interest rates for electoral gains.
The Libertarian: Can the President Fire Anyone? SCOTUS Hears Arguments in Trump v. Slaughter
Q: How seriously do you take the constitutional objection to the following scenario? You have a law passed by Congress that gives an agency that was created by Congress power, but is quite vague and is disputed by people in good faith.
The agency is supposed to be independent, and it raises issues about accountability if an elected president cannot remove the head of an agency who disagrees with policy changes.
What the Hell Is Going On: WTH Does Gen Z Think Life Sucks? Norbert Michel Explains.
Q: How do we reconcile this generational angst with the facts that you're laying out?
There is a generational angst rooted in expectations but the current financial reality is better compared to past generations, despite perceptions.
What the Hell Is Going On: WTH Does Gen Z Think Life Sucks? Norbert Michel Explains.
Q: Norbert, can you just give us the 30 foot, thousand foot view as to how their lives compare to their parents and grandparents?
Gen Z is financially better off than their parents and grandparents, with higher incomes and wealth accumulation.
