This is a podcast that I’ve kept coming back to over and over since it came out. Richie is an absolute stud! I feel the love and inspiration every time I listen. An honest seeker of wisdom won’t be disappointed.
This episode brought to mind Paulo Freire’s book Pedagogy of the Oppressed, wherein the concept of education as a “banking model”, a versus a critical pedagogy where students are taught to think. The banking model is where it is believed that educators must put knowledge into students like they are containers. It seems scientific management may have seeped into education at some point.
Richie thank you so much for putting the time, energy and resources into making this podcast. They sound quality is amazing.
But even better than the sound it’s WHAT you say. Golden nuggets every few minutes and great inspiring guests. God bless you!
