I love this podcast so much. I listen to it on my walks around the neighborhood. One time Dana said something so surprising to me that I was walking with my jaw dropped. This podcast is so interesting especially for someone who grew up watching this show! I hope the show will pick back up again, before I finish listening!
I Love Lucy is my life. Literally. I even have a tattoo. Anything I can ever digest that might give me information I don’t already know, I’m all about. Love your observations and opinions! I’ve been going through a rough time medically and rewatching the series for the umpteenth time as comfort. This is such a fun new way for me to watch and then reevaluate. Definitely a new follower!
Nothing worse than a woke revisionist review of a television classic!
This is a great way to keep I Love Lucy in my everyday life (like when I’m working and can’t watch the show). I have wonderful memories of watching this show up in western NY, and visiting Lucille Ball’s hometown of Jamestown, NY with my mom and grandmother. They both have since passed away but when I think of Lucy and Desi, I can remember my Mon and my Nana. Thank you Dana for keeping this show alive by going through each episode and being so entertaining talking about them!!!
Dana, I’m crazy about this podcast and your illuminating and warm commentary. Are you continuing on with the series, we want to hear more from you! It’s been since last autumn but the desire to hear more is still there. I only found this a few weeks ago, but I know your other listeners haven’t forgotten about you.
