How I ended up listening to this I have no idea but as a scientifically literate listener from a wildly different field who also deals with the idea and practice of first responder actions in wilderness settings idea that a) manual pulse checks are ‘of variable reliability’ and secondly b) that not all pulseless patients may lie in one cohort is fascinating
As a paramedic being a jack of all trades working in the pre hospital setting I love this pod cast.
The relationship between the guys makes it fun to listen to and extremely educational from very respected clinicians, and them speaking from experience and also knowing they themselves have to brush up on certain things or have varying experiences of things is very real and validating as a clinician.

As a paramedic, learning about best practice management and EBM in the ER in addition to the pre-hospital environment is advantageous. The presenters are humble and pragmatic and their witty banter has me smiling in my response car on my long trips in remote WA.
