It’s been rare, in my experience, to be able to find a pastor so young who is packed with wisdom like Glenn. Yes, he’s educated. Yes, he grew up abroad. Yes, he married an Iowa farm girl. And he’s a musician (left brain thinker). But, I think what truly seems to define him for me is the furnace of trials he’s had to walk through at a young age, being in a big church with a pastor that had a fall from grace, and a later church tragedy. It’s not as glitzy or catchy as other podcasts, but it is not trying to be. Whereas other podcasts are using gimmicks to catch your attention so that listeners will buy something, this podcast is simple, straight forward and delivers helpful content. As an aspiring pastor (read: not yet), I find myself emboldened by the guests and topics. Definitely worth a follow.
I am truly learning a lot in all these podcasts being produced and hosted by Glen and the team. Keep producing a place for pastors to come and simply be fed. Thanks for all you are doing to help pastors become and remain resilient!
