Seriously- been listening to Ray and Cam’s shows since the very early days of the Caesar podcast. I then subscribed to the Alexander podcast. And STAYED subscribed. Till well after it finished in 2017. Till yesterday in fact. But I don’t mind cause these podcast are great: funny, and informative and varied. Very happy to be having my own private renaissance!
After finishing up the Life of Caesar podcast I could not imagine not hearing Cameron play perfectly curated music to the current topic and Ray’s top notch research, as demonstrated in his excellent commentary. I would not miss the opportunity to learn about the Renaissance with anyone but these two! If you are looking for a fun and well researched podcast, along with great commentary on a wide variety of other subjects DO NOT look further - you won’t be disappointed.
Totally unnecessary vulgar language and snickering. Like listening to 13 year olds try to describe history. Don’t waste your time.
Entertaining and interesting. Love this show.
I was interested in this podcast after I heard it recommended by another. Started with the Leonardo da Vinci episodes. Unnecessary profanity and so many sexual innuendos, for what reason??? The last I could take was when they said something about Mary Magdalene being excited about Jesus rising from the dead so she could F his brains out. Absolutely disgusting.
