  • Love the show

I really like the emphasis on the individual soldiers and their experience rather than just an overall description

  • LABH - 79 Armoured Division

A great episode covering the tragic but inspiring story of the Lothian and Border Horse Yeomanry in WWII. Would love a more detailed podcast on their role as part of the 79th Armoured Division on D-Day and Antwerp. Wondering if there are any surviving accounts of what it was like to serve in a flail tank on the beaches? Would be a cracking story and one I have not heard told.

  • Detailed research and engaging narrative

Excellent series of podcasts that both set out the strategic/political and operational context for the actions but often also convey the human side via first hand accounts.
