  • A shining light in the watch podcasting world.

Despite many new entrants into the medium, Rob and Alon keep it real and stick to the core mission of spreading watch related knowledge and energy. One of my regular rotation podcasts!

  • Great Pod and community

Informative with good humor. I enjoy hearing the honest opinions of Rob, Alon, Scarlett, and David. The guest interviews are very insightful. Their lastest glass igloo sessions made it as if I was at the trade show myself.

Their open mindedness is also reflected in the inclusiveness of the TRTS network community they have built.

Very happy I discovered the pod and community!

  • The black book of the watch industry

“The black book” of the watch industry, as they call it. This is a mature podcast that brings interesting analysis on the watch industry / hobby, and my favorite - plenty of up-and-coming watch entrepreneurs that make me discover new brands and novel designs. Great work team !

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Chronopolis Radio: Echo/Neutra
Q: Will there be a stainless steel version of the Rivanera, or will you maintain the titanium finish?
There will not be a stainless steel version because the sunblasted finish and the titanium material are core to the collection's brutal yet elegant contrast, which defines the brand's identity.
Chronopolis Radio: Echo/Neutra
Q: How much of EcoNutra's product strategy is driven by market demand versus personal design direction?
The approach is more guided by instinct and on-the-ground impressions than formal market research; new sketches often come from moments at fairs or in the hotel, shaping prototypes before formal market analysis.
Chronopolis Radio: Echo/Neutra
Q: What made you join Chronopolis, of all the platforms available during Geneva Watch Week?
We believed in the project and were drawn to Chronopolis by its collaborative spirit and potential to give our young brand a meaningful visibility in Geneva, which felt like the right fit for our first time in the city.
Chronopolis Radio: Formex
Q: Why choose Chronopolis over other watch shows, and how does that fit your marketing strategy?
Chronopolis is ideal because it gathers like-minded indie brands, offering a high-visibility environment where customers, press, and retailers can connect in one place, which aligns with Formex's focus on hands-on experience and community.
Chronopolis Radio: Formex
Q: How does Formex justify its pricing in the 2,000 Swiss francs range while positioning itself as a value-driven brand?
Pricing is not a mandate to hit a number; it stems from building the best possible product with the desired features and materials, and the margins are transparent due to in-house production, which keeps the price competitive without compromising quality.
