  • Obsessed with this pod

I absolutely love this podcast. The hosts are hilarious and their Maasverse coverage is so good. I have followed since the beginning and I am so proud of their growth. The empyrean episodes are great but are definitely more raw compared to SOS and Crescent City

I freaking love these two idiots. They have me cackling non-stop, but it’s not *just* jokes; they bring up some very thought-provoking, interesting points. 10/10, no notes.

Q: How did you choose the narrators for Godsbane's audio book?
Richardson explains she initially thought audio would require traditional rights acquisition but later pursued direct contracts, selecting Jacci as the narrator via a Femme Audio Takeover effort and ultimately working with Anthony Palmini for the male narration, aiming for a duet that fits her vision for the characters.

Come Hang Out With Author Mara van Nacht
Q: Where does the inspiration for Cliff come from?
Cliff was created as a relatable, soft-spoken foil for August—an almost journal or sounding board who appears intimidating but is actually a cuddly teddy bear once you get to know him.

Q: Did you have to cut anything significant from the book?
The earlier ending was completely reworked to allow for future installments, focusing more on character development.
