At first I enjoyed the easily digestible information, but two episodes in, I found this podcast deeply off-putting.
The hosts were too cheesy and their interactions on difficult topics far too frictionless. Particularly problematic is the male AI mansplaining everything to a female AI, who plays the unfortunate role of a prop. Sometimes a Big Bird who has not a clue, sometimes the Watson who effortlessly understands in order to tee up the next point Mr. Male AI wants to make.
I’m all for AI. I... more
Don’t bother.
Sometimes, admittedly, it takes me a few listens to follow along, but that’s because I never studied physics at any level so I’m on a steep learning curve. It is presented in plain English, which is great for the novice and learned alike.
I really enjoy the content, and it’s presented in an easily digestible way so people not in the field can understand it. Lost a star bc I feel the description “This episode includes AI-generated content” is erring on the side of lie by omission since that makes it sound like some of it was written by AI not (as is the case) completely written and narrated by AI. To be clear I like AI, I think it’s great and don’t think it takes away from the quality at all. But I do feel a certain way about bein... more
