I learn something useful from every episode. The casual and friendly format always brings out the person behind the science. It is important to remind folks that scientists are not just emotionless robots in lab coats…
Super chill podcast about the world of (and around of) proteomics.
The common sense questions asked by Ben Squared makes the science I don’t know interesting. This season is my favorite. What about another episode about bloods?
Amazing podcast! I have never listened to podcasts until I found this one...and Ben showed me how to download a podcast app. Love the opening & closing music. Proteomics needs more death metal and polka music. You guys are halfway there. I'm encouraging (making) my students listen to this podcast as they learn proteomics and read foundational papers written by the guests. Wish I had this resource when I was entering the field. Keep it up!
Learning more about the science and the leaders in a conversational fashion. Sam appreciated the comments on competition and sportsmanship.

A discussion-driven show that blends accessible conversation with deep proteomics expertise. Episodes commonly center on how proteomics tools—mass spectrometry, imaging, single-cell approaches, and computational analysis—apply to biology and medicine, from eye and tear biomarkers to blood vessels, brain, bone, and cancer. The hosts cultivate a relaxed, fireside-chat style, often weaving practical lab notes, translational challenges, and cross-disciplinary connections into the dialogue. Notable is the breadth of guest profiles, ranging from university researchers to translational scientists, which keeps the content both technically rich and broadly relevant for listeners curious about real-world proteomics applications.
