  • Good fun!

I am a Canadian Canucks fan living in Japan. Been listening from Japan for the last few years. For a team that has not been doing too well, you guys do a great job of entertaining listeners. I enjoy all of the hockey related content and do not mind a little soccer of NFL, but wish that you could have a separate show for sports other than hockey.

I really enjoy your discussions and your content. The openness of your viewpoints are refreshing. I feel that in today’s world there is too much negat... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Sitting, Waiting, Wishing
Q: Now, Batch, before we let you go, are you a board game guy?
Batch confirms he enjoys classic games like Risk and Monopoly, highlighting a casual, relatable side while still keeping focus on the Canucks discussion.
Last Call for the Whitecaps?
Q: Could MLB expansion realistically be the future for Vancouver, and what would it entail?
MLB expansion for Vancouver is discussed as a long-shot requiring enormous capital, land rights, league approval, and an entertainment district strategy; while intriguing as a long-term vision, it is not seen as imminent and would compete with other Western markets for expansion slots.
Last Call for the Whitecaps?
Q: What is the likelihood of the Vancouver Whitecaps staying in Vancouver given the Las Vegas bid and ownership dynamics?
The consensus leans toward a challenging path to remain in Vancouver, with the Vegas bid appearing financially tempting and ownership dynamics suggesting that unless a dramatically credible local counteroffer emerges, relocation could be favored by MLS in pursuit of greater market value.
Lasting Memories From the Season?
Q: Sam, how big is the potential tier after McKenna and Stenberg, and how many players do you see in that next range?
Cosentino emphasizes there are multiple players across winger, defense, and center positions, with a cluster of options in the 25–35 range and beyond, depending on how the Canucks value positional need versus best player available.
All Elite Wrestling Star Will Ospreay
Q: What makes Will Ospreay's walkout and entrance so distinctive?
He explains that his Assassin's Creed-inspired entrance, with parkour athletes and dramatic narration, is a collaborative creation with producers and a deliberate choice to stand out and engage the crowd, while staying true to his identity.
