Stuck in a dead-end town with no idea what to do, she begins writing a diary, hoping something interesting will happen. And, as luck would have it, something interesting DOES happen... What a charming and magickal fictional drama! The voice acting and writing are adorably humorous. I highly recommend if someone is seeking a magickal respite from the hum drum of life.

I was looking for a nice fantasy story that was interesting, funny and without a lot of obnoxious screaming, and so far, this is it! Thanks and keep at it!
I've only listened to the first few episodes of The Prickwillow Papers, and I must say that it hooked me from the get-go. Maddy's voice acting is superb, the audio editing is excellent, the writing is great, and I absolutely related to and loved Sylda right from episode 1.
Definitely recommend this fantasy audio drama!

This show is a fun and snappy listen, with a neat concept and cool main character dynamic.
Delightful and original - with nods to the familiar. Appreciate the excellent sound design and decent voice acting. Looking forward to hearing more.
Wonderful fantasy show with fantastic writing and acting. Episodes are perfectly timed and a wonderful companion on errands or relaxing at home.
I enjoyed the voice acting and hilarious insults.
The trials of a trainee enchantress stuck in the middle of nowhere. Think wings and Doc Martens.Laugh out loud funny.
I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. The setting, the characters and the humor is delivered with laser precision. What a great bit of entertainment!
Adorable, funny as heck, lots of fun. Love this one!!
This adorable show takes the drudgery of post-grad life and makes it charming and fantastic - literally so, with fairies and magic. Great voice acting and a really fun premise - wish the episodes were twice as long! :)
This show is like the high fantasy equivalent of Being Human, though it also really reminds me of the Carmilla web series. Maddy does an amazing job with the performances, and the sound design is great. Strongly recommend listening while having tea and cake!
Firstly, if I'm getting the credits right, Maddy Searle plays two characters in this and I think she does a great job making them sound distinct. So kudos for that. The problem is that unless this show is supposed to be about an abusive friendship/mentorship, one of the characters is way off. I am confused as to why Sylda feels any obligation or interest to help Squirm, who has offered her nothing and just berates and demeans her.
