Why am I SO addicted to this podcast? I’m down the cult-podcast rabbit hole and I heard her on another show and came over to this one. I think these high control groups are the ones we know and hear the least about. At least I didn’t know. I’ve been obsessed with this podcast and the remarkable stories that Mark and Jasper coax out of their guests. It’s very (sadly) educational- my former impression of the Amish-Mennonite communities was hard working, God fearing family folk. Wow what hardships that are imposed on the women and children - lack of education- lack of freedom and sexual abuse. My heart goes out to the individuals oppressed by these supposed Christians.
