Have listened to all of the football episodes (and a few of the others) this season - 2018. The content is insightful & fun and the guests are interesting and bring unique color to every episode. I follow the team on the radio and think Mute’s sideline reporting during the games, along with the great intel/observations from traveling with the team blend well with the podcast. Will certainly finish the football season and look forward to some great hoops episodes ahead.
This is a great podcast. The facts, stats and insight that Mutryn provides is outstanding. Obvious he really knows the game. Spaulding does a solid job keeping the program moving along which is perfect. One note: Spaulding’s audio does sound poor in comparison to Mutryn and guests (a little bit “tinny”?). It would be nice to hear consistent quality audio.
I really want to like this podcast. Content is great. Excellent commentary and insights, and the interviews of Dillon and Denis highlighted just how respectful, articulate and classy these athletes are.
The production value, however, is abysmal. From dogs barking, kids squeeling and teammates shouting in the background to choppy connections and in and out audio, the podcast screams second rate.
C’mon guys. If this is worth doing, it is worth doing well.
Have enjoyed listening to The Perch weekly. Their coverage of BC Football fills a gap for the local fans. Scott Mutryn is really close to the program and understands what all the players bring to the table. He is also has a good grasp of the ACC and major college programs in general. The Dillon interview was great. Sounds like BC will compete this year.
I just want more Bill Spaulding in my headphones and in my life.
