I love the Exodus study; the length is great for a quick study and the content is always rich; food for my soul.

  • Arrogance

I never listen to Bible teachers who described themselves as best – selling authors and world, renowned scholars, and supernatural preachers. This kind of arrogance has no place in the gospel. The apostle Paul never would have referred to himself and such Americanized terms. Jesus spent his entire ministry denouncing people like this world – famous best – selling author Tripp.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

1051. What Advice Do You Have For Singles, New Parents, And Ministry Couples? | Ask Paul Tripp
Q: What advice, Paul, do you have for single people in the church?
The key is to resist the idea that marriage is the primary source of inner satisfaction. Find your security and riches in Christ, understand that God's gifts are available to all, and avoid letting marital status define your identity.
1046. How Can I Grow In Intimacy And Grace With My Spouse? | Ask Paul Tripp
Q: What does it really mean to be one flesh in marriage?
It means a deep relational unity rooted in heart and character, where marriage becomes an arena for mutual love, service, and the safety of intimacy, not just a physical act.
1028. What Are The Red Flags Of Proud Pastors? | Ask Paul Tripp
Q: What are the warning signs that a pastor or an elder or ministry leader is consumed with pride?
A pastor's self-glory and living as if he is the central figure communicates pride, alongside patterns of unrepentance and rejection of accountability.
1024. Can Christians (And Pastors) Live With Depression? | Ask Paul Tripp
Q: Have you ever battled with depression or experienced times as a pastor or more recently as an author and a speaker where you just had little or no spiritual energy and affection for the Lord, but you still had to get up and write and teach and preach?
While I haven't struggled with depression in the same way as Spurgeon, I have faced significant physical suffering that impacted my capacity to work. I've learned to turn to God's Word, seek support, and rely on daily tasks to regain my spiritual energy.
1026. The Delusion of Neutrality | Mark 3:1-35
Q: What would you do with Jesus?
The speaker calls for a personal reflection on how one is responding to Jesus.
