As a 20+ year beer leaguer these stories hit close to home. Beer leaguers are the same everywhere. Great friends, great characters, great stories. (Marginal hockey) more
Taco Tom hits the nail on the head with this podcast. Hear authentic interviews with the guys that live and lived the life in “beer league” hockey. Listen to the real locker room stories, the playing resumes, the legendary trips , the friendships and lifelong bond that comes along with the brotherhood of the “beer league” . This is the real deal !!
I started listening to this podcast about a year and a half ago after looking for a beer league hockey centered podcast. The show is formatted with an introduction segment with the hosts catching up on what happened in their beer league games that week along with some topical discussion. That leads into a long format interview with someone who has or currently plays beer league hockey. Then it ends with a short wrap up segment. more
There are hundreds of thousands of people playing beer league hockey and everyone has their own story and reason for doing it. But everyone shares the same outlook…it’s about the beers, camaraderie and chirping. And you hear that here from everyone from every walk of life.
What a great podcast to spend a Saturday morning listening to. So many great stories from across the beer league. Characters from all walks of life, from around the globe. Taco and Jeremy really do a terrific job bringing the stories from the various hockey leagues to a colorful light. I highly recommend this podcast for a lot of laughs and good hockey related content, ranging from gear, nhl team recaps and of course beer!
