  • So helpful at every stage of life

I have been listening to this podcast since I became a parent 3 years ago as I was trying to learn how best to parent my children for a life of faith. I’ve found it so helpful and also so realistic with recognition of all the barriers that we might face as parents but with really easy and practical tips to overcome them. There are a few episodes that I know I will come back to again at a later stage of my parenting life but there really is something for everyone. Thank you for producing this!

  • This podcast has become my favourite thing to listen to during late-night nursing sessions. I search out episodes on specific topics, but then I'm drawn into even more topics by how interesting the other segments in each episode are!

The podcast feels so inspiring and refreshing, and yet also realistic in how to apply and grow in these things.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S14 Bonus: After Spring Harvest - What Next?
Q: How can parents continue the conversation and integrate faith into everyday life beyond Spring Harvest?
Martha explains that not every family will sit down for formal devotions, so finding personal practices that ignite each family member—like walks, creation observations, or simple prayers during daily activities—helps embed faith into everyday life and keeps the conversation going.
S14 Bonus: After Spring Harvest - What Next?
Q: Why is it hard to hold onto these experiences after we go home, and how can families keep that flame alive?
Anna and Martha discuss the sense of a 'crash' after the event and emphasize building a daily rhythm or pockets of peace, rather than trying to recreate the festival. Continual conversation, practical routines, and involving all ages help the faith feel normal and sustainable.
S14 Bonus: After Spring Harvest - What Next?
Q: Do you have stories about how families connected with God during Spring Harvest and what changed for them spiritually?
Martha shares that families often experience God in multiple moments across the festival—mealtimes, travel, and group activities—and these experiences can be carried back home through reflection, conversations, and simple practices like recording favourite moments or creating memory keepsakes.
S14E09 Telling the Whole Story
Q: If you could go back to a certain Bible story, moment in the Bible, what would it be and why?
A reflective question designed to spark conversation about which moments in Scripture families would revisit, encouraging kids to articulate their curiosity and connect those moments to the overarching story.
S14E04 : Dr. Krish Kandiah
Q: What can hospitality look like as a family value?
Hospitality can manifest as fostering, inviting neighbours, or welcoming refugees, creating a culture of kindness and acceptance.
