Topical TXA did not significantly change estimated blood loss or transfusion rates in posterior wall acetabular fractures, with no impact on thromboembolic events either.

Q: Can you give us just briefly overall, kind of what was PREPIT, how many sites were involved there, and how many patients do we have?
The PREPIT study included 3,500 patients from 23 different sites across the continental US and Canada, with various degrees of contamination in their injuries.
