Really appreciated the most recent conversation about Ebola transmission and risks, and the warm thoughts sent to providers caring for the sick. Really fantastic information transmitted in a digestible way!
Dr Osterholm has some good information, but he takes himself way too seriously. He also defends the WHO and China; rather distasteful, given what has unfolded in the last year. He is very earnest — in measure, that can be useful. He misses no opportunity to trash the current administration. A real pearl clutcher.

Public health topics and infectious disease updates are the backbone, with frequent deep dives into vaccines, COVID-19, and emerging outbreaks. Episodes synthesize current research, policy shifts, and practical guidance for public health professionals, with a strong emphasis on communication, trust, and preparedness. A standout aspect is the integration of data-driven analysis from CIDRAP with guest insights, long-form discussions of policy and epidemiology, and occasional human-interest elements that illuminate real-world impacts of infectious diseases.
