It’s really difficult to listen to commentary on a show about women in prison by people who’ve done no research on the issues at hand. The ignorance of all but one commentator is really depressing. The writers of this show have clearly researched the prison industrial complex, and deserve commentary from people who’ve done the same—as do the incarcerated women reflected in these stories.
