I enjoy listening to this podcast for dietary tips and advice. I haven’t really understood Susie’s obsession with chicken schnitzels and how that food seems to regularly dominate discussions. I’m always surprised about the detail she goes into about her clients, as some of it is not very favourable and if I were paying for a dietician I would want it being used for podcast fodder and judgment. Leanne is always really balanced and positive, and I enjoy her other podcast too.
These are so good that you’ll become obsessed. I started with listening to their book Reset, Nourish, Burn (which provides an awesome framework on the basics that I didn’t fully understand before reading/listening), and then jumped into their podcasts. I have learned so much about food, how to eat in a balanced way, and to not fear certain foods. They provide excellent evidence-based advice and help you cut through the hype of the latest fad diets/food. Even though their product reviews are ... more
I love listening and re-listening to all your episodes. As a breast cancer survivor of 11 years, who is denied HRT, I am very interested in health and nutrition and the benefits of different supplements. I have just purchased your collagen and can’t wait to see if it can help improve the quality of my hair, skin, nails and especially my reduced eyelashes.
Thank you Leanne & Susie!!
I was so keen to listen to this podcast because it’s Australian. But, I was surprised at how much labouring of the point there was. The content seems sounds but take a breath, slow down. Leave a small gap for the listener to digest and for your co-worker to respond. The pacing is too fast. I will try another episode and see if it’s the same.
Disappointed to hear you once again dissing yumi’s eggplant dip! Particularly frustrating because it sounds like you’ve never even tried it, just written it off because you’re apparently not fans of eggplant! It’s a vegetable for goodness sake, surely it’s your job as dietitians to promote it not turn others away from a potentially very healthy and tasty option, simply based on your own personal preferences.
Yumi’s eggplant dip has outlasted your fave capsicum dip so there are people like me b... more
