Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Breaking the Cycle: Motherhood and Success as a Naturopathic Doctor with Dr. Annaleeza Caputi
Q: What advice would you give to other naturopathic doctors who are pregnant or postpartum about investing in themselves?
Start investing in yourself early, even when you feel least confident, because you deserve to grow and lead; the ROI is broader than money—it's about quality of care, leadership, and long-term career satisfaction.
Breaking the Cycle: Motherhood and Success as a Naturopathic Doctor with Dr. Annaleeza Caputi
Q: What was the hardest part about returning to practice after maternity leave, and how did you navigate that
The hardest part was the mental shift and the sense of identity as both a mom and clinician; it helped to gradually re-enter, seek support from clinics that understood, and reconfigure the workflow to protect time for both roles.
Breaking the Cycle: Motherhood and Success as a Naturopathic Doctor with Dr. Annaleeza Caputi
Q: Can you walk us through how you balance full-time practice with caring for two and a half-year-old twins?
I do five practice days with about 25-27 patient-facing hours per week, and I'm candid that it's not sustainable long-term; the key is building a support system, setting boundaries, and continuously reassessing what works for the family and the practice.
The Missing Piece in Pediatric Health with Dr. Erika Krumbeck, ND
Q: Do you feel you developed the ability to hold the complexity of pediatric cases, or was it something you built over time?
It's both learning from early experiences and deliberate growth; through years of seeing neurodivergent and complex patients, I developed a practice that emphasizes practical, durable decision-making and relationships, not just single interventions, which improved outcomes and collaboration with families and other providers.
The Missing Piece in Pediatric Health with Dr. Erika Krumbeck, ND
Q: What is your relationship like with pediatricians and conventional medicine, and how have you built bridges in your community?
I've worked hard to establish and maintain good relationships with local pediatricians and hospital staff by prioritizing open dialogue about vaccines, community transmission, and shared patient care, even when there are disagreements. The goal is collaboration for the child's health, not to win debates, which helps slowly build trust.
