Came to this podcast late, but what a great listen. Charlie and Joan have me in stitches every show, apart from the Christmas Kuhl! 😂
I follow Southend Utd and have had to adjust to life in the National League, well until possible liquidation anyway! But that’s another long, sad story.
This is by far my favourite podcast. I have become obsessed with listening to it, in fact I’ve started at the very beginning and am trawling through every episode since the beginning.
Well done Charlie
I’ve resisted following this show and have enjoyed dipped in and out occasionally instead. This was possibly due to the hope of escaping the National league at some point soon! Anyway, this Chesterfield fan (living in Notts - ouch) is here for another season and has now succumbed to following the show .. Good luck to all, especially if you play in blue & white ;)
Not a Torquay podcast. As someone who is not a footy fan, it's my favourite football podcast.

Two Torquay United fans run a playful, irreverent look at the National League, mixing match analysis with fan banter, local club lore, and running gags. Episodes frequently center on Torquay United and other non-league clubs, with humor, personal anecdotes, and occasional guest insights from former players and managers. The format tends to balance affectionate club devotion with light, club-radio style discussion, making it appealing for listeners who enjoy banter, fan-driven conversation, and a casual, humorous take on lower-league football. This show often features running bits, listener letters, and meta-jokes about the level, creating a distinctive, community-oriented vibe that fans return to week after week.
