  • True Servant of Christ

Anyone who has listened to or read Steve Gregg for any period of time would have to conclude that he has no agenda other than to glorify God by faithful exposition of His Word. This is extremely rare today—a breath of fresh air. While there are many things Steve has helped me see more clearly in scripture, the most important is the distinction between the modern, truncated “gospel” so prevalent in the American evangelical church today vs the Gospel of the Kingdom as found in God’s Word.

  • Knowledge freely shared

I cannot thank God enough for Steve and people like him. Decades of study of the Bible shared objectively and at absolutely no cost to you except for your time. I appreciate that Steve will even put forth possible interpretations that don’t necessarily align with his personal beliefs. Truly a blessing. Thank you Steve for your life of service to the Kingdom of the Lord.

  • Deep knowledge base but....

Steve is extremely knowledgeable about the bible. The downside is that he is quite repetitive, often answering a question and then repeating the entire answer an additional time or two, which gets tedious.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

20260623
Q: What is the meaning of being baptized in the name of Jesus versus the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?
The host suggests the key issue is the identity of the person being baptized into, not the exact formula, and that baptism in Jesus' name can reflect a traditional interpretation of the Trinity when understood as baptizing into Christ.
20260622
Q: Why did God appear to only certain witnesses after the resurrection?
God chose to reveal the risen Lord to chosen witnesses to spread the gospel, rather than appearing to everyone, enabling a focused, mob-friendly mission through the apostles.
20260603
Q: What is your best commentary to explain dispensationalism to someone who is a dispensationalist?
Steve recommends specific lecture series and one-off lectures such as Deconstructing Dispensationalism, When Shall These Things Be?, and What Are We To Make Of Israel? as the best resources to address dispensational questions in a structured way.
20260528
Q: How do I know if I love God enough?
There isn't a numerical meter for love; if your heart is devoted to pleasing God, you are likely loving Him as you should, and there is room for growth as love is a fruit that matures over time.
20260521
Q: What is your perspective on the purpose of tongues in the church?
Tongues are not primarily for preaching the gospel; they serve as a sign to unbelievers and can be used for praying and blessing God, especially when interpreted in the church.
