  • True Servant of Christ

Anyone who has listened to or read Steve Gregg for any period of time would have to conclude that he has no agenda other than to glorify God by faithful exposition of His Word. This is extremely rare today—a breath of fresh air. While there are many things Steve has helped me see more clearly in scripture, the most important is the distinction between the modern, truncated “gospel” so prevalent in the American evangelical church today vs the Gospel of the Kingdom as found in God’s Word.

  • Knowledge freely shared

I cannot thank God enough for Steve and people like him. Decades of study of the Bible shared objectively and at absolutely no cost to you except for your time. I appreciate that Steve will even put forth possible interpretations that don’t necessarily align with his personal beliefs. Truly a blessing. Thank you Steve for your life of service to the Kingdom of the Lord.

  • Deep knowledge base but....

Steve is extremely knowledgeable about the bible. The downside is that he is quite repetitive, often answering a question and then repeating the entire answer an additional time or two, which gets tedious.

Q: What do you think about people being called minister as a title?
I'm not in favor of titles unless they describe what the person does, as they can suggest rank or elite special status which Jesus discouraged.
20251217
Q: Do you believe that the war in Israel right now indicates the sign of the end times?
I don't know of any Bible prophecy that speaks of anything that's going on in Israel today or identifies it as a sign of the end times.
20251217
Q: Could you perhaps describe the difference between holiness and legalism?
Holiness refers to being set apart for God, while legalism implies a system of rules and regulations that do not necessarily stem from a sincere relationship with Him.
20251219
Q: What does Matthew 22:14, 'For many are called, but few are chosen,' refer to?
It refers to those who respond to God's invitation, but only those who come on His terms are considered chosen and retained for the wedding feast while others are cast out.
20251219
Q: What does it mean to be salted with fire?
It means the fire serves as a disinfectant or purgative, though interpretations may vary, trying to clarify the meaning in light of Jesus' teachings and contextual references to judgment.
