  • Love This

I love this podcast because you both are intelligent and bring up great points. But you were off in terms of No Kings. It’s called “No Kings” for a reason. We are against a dictator, as you know. And there is lots going on. We are boycotting Avela Airlines. We had post rally virtual meetings to organize next steps. You have to be a part of Indivisible or MoveOn or whatever organizing group you are with. This is a movement. We know it takes more than protests. We are mobilizing. Local groups are ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mailbag: Are Democrats Built For What’s Coming?
Q: What do you think is going to happen with the Democratic Party?
The party might struggle unless a strong grassroots movement emerges to effectively challenge and change its direction.
Mailbag: Are Democrats Built For What’s Coming?
Q: Do you see signs of a burgeoning labor movement combined with the true progressive and leftist agenda on the horizon?
There may be a possibility for a more true progressive party, but it could require a catastrophic failure for change to happen and many are dissatisfied with the status quo.
War and Piece… of Ukraine
Q: How are you feeling about this and why is it awful?
It's devastating to hear what's going to happen for Ukraine as they might be forced to cede territory and have no assurance of safety.
From Epstein Emails To Diaper Tax, With Congressional Candidate John Cavanaugh
Q: Are you concerned about having free and fair elections in 2026?
I'm always concerned about the next election. These folks thrive on making people feel desperate and disengaged, which is why we need to ensure people are actively participating in the electoral process.
From Epstein Emails To Diaper Tax, With Congressional Candidate John Cavanaugh
Q: Are you aware of the kind of people that you might be sitting across the aisle from and why would you want to submit yourself to that kind of experience?
I already serve in the Nebraska Unicameral, where we are in the super minority and I've seen the kinds of people in politics who seem to be there not to serve the community but to do the bidding of higher powers.
