A poet, an adventurer, a magnificent voice, a creative personality filled with wonder, joy, and melancholy. I loved the laugh-till-I-cried Mischke Broadcast on the air years ago and the podcast is even better now.
The worst thing that ever happened to Tom Barnard was that he didn’t have a Mischke in his life earlier on. Kudos to Mischke for not accepting Barnard’s pissing and moaning.
MISHCKE
This show isn’t about MISHCKE it’s about you and me .
After a few episodes I found my ear’s opening to people around me
After a few more
I found myself being more human
This podcast is not entertainment
It’s a course on being a better soul
I listened to his evening show for years and decided to look him up years later as I now live far from Minnesota. I’m glad there is a place for talented radio hosts like him since the big broadcasting companies have pushed all the good ones out of the business. So happy to find this!
It’s thoughtful, funny at times, and gently provocative. Every episode is like a gift wrapped in brown paper- full of mystery and hope, with some sadness tinged with a love of humanity.
