I really enjoyed the way they broke down and analyzed TMOG & Live Suit. But these episodes analyzing The Expanse have led me to a full reread of that series too. Can’t wait for TFOB and for these 2 to point out all the things I missed so I can read that book 3 times, too.
More expanse and other books series you like too! I love your guys chemistry
The best Captives War and the best The Expanse podcast out there!
This is such a great podcast for fans of James S.A. Corey and fans of sci-fi in general. Their deep dives and analysis are great. I really like this podcast. It provoked some ideas about TMOG that I hadn’t considered on my first read. It’s insightful and fun - and now I’m realising I’m going to have to reread all the expanse too.

Across episodes, listeners are treated to deep dives into complex plots, with frequent attention to how personal histories shape decisions during interstellar conflict, as well as how larger power dynamics drive narrative tension. The hosts mix rigorous textual analysis with entertaining banter, making difficult themes accessible for fans who enjoy both theory and relatable discussion. A standout aspect is the enthusiastic, nerdy camaraderie between Brigid and Clint, plus regular coverage of related novellas and short stories that expand the c... more
