Anthropic is a vendor that produces a potentially hazardous technology. The company conducts safety analysis to identify hazards and implement safety controls.

The safety analysis has identified several well-known risks associated with AI, including: lethal autonomous weapons without human supervision, control, or over... more

  • Mansplaining monologues on AI

I find this show so fascinatingly bad. A minion poses questions to this Paul Roetzer guy and he expounds like he’s the oracle on AI. The little minion is never allowed more than a word or two. It’s so cringe.

I’ve been following the show for well over a year and it has leapfrogged my understanding of the industry, the players, and the products tremendously. This team really cares about the people who listen and society in general, they know what they’re talking about and they’re fun to listen to.

#206: Building AI Councils That Work, Motivating Passive Adopters, Why Pilots Stall, and Amazon’s AI Slowdown
Q: Question number one. We've been talking about Amazon slowing parts of its AI rollout due to quality issues. My gut says that might actually be a sign of maturity, but how do you see it?
The hosts frame this as growing pains and a sign that teams are moving quickly; they stress the need for responsible experimentation, management of risk, and reliance on technical partners to ensure safety and data protection while continuing to push AI initiatives forward.
#204: AI Answers - What Should Stay Human, AI Pricing vs. Labor Cost, Leapfrogging Digitalisation, Getting Legal On Board & Do Reasoning Models Actually Reason?
Q: What are the best parts of AI to learn to become AI-forward for job seekers currently unemployed?
Prioritize prompting skills, basic AI literacy, and demonstrable competency by building AI-driven projects or 'gems' in AI models; showcase these through certificates and real-world applications.
#204: AI Answers - What Should Stay Human, AI Pricing vs. Labor Cost, Leapfrogging Digitalisation, Getting Legal On Board & Do Reasoning Models Actually Reason?
Q: How can someone with a marketing background transition into the AI space without a strong coding background?
There are growing opportunities in AI marketing, product management, and AI strategy that leverage prompting and collaboration with AI tools, so coding is not strictly required; focus on learning to prompt effectively and understand how to leverage AI as a teammate.
#202: AI Answers - AI for Marketing, Sales & Customer Success, Marketing Agent Swarms, Entry-Level Job Disruption, Environmental Impact and AI Privacy
Q: When should a company buy software vs build with tools like Gemini/Claude?
Generally, buying established software remains common, but expect more integration of agent-based capabilities; sometimes build or compose with multiple tools if a unique workflow is needed.
