Best tech podcast ever
Thought it was hilarious, ironic, horrible, that the very good and informative episode about GLP-1 drugs discussed how we got here and immediately after saying goodbye to the guest a McDonald’s commercial runs.
Top show - always really informative. Refreshing that Alex and his guests do not always worship at the altar of big tech and AI!
This show is excellent. I am floored by the consistent quality of guests and the level of discussion on the Friday news show. If you’re trying to understand tech and AI, don’t miss this one!!
Used to be a good show, but it’s gotten to where half the show is Alex doom-whinging every week about the same thing — ugh

The show consistently touches AI, frontier tech, and big-tech strategy, blending interviews with industry insiders and sharp-theory commentary. Episodes often explore pricing, compute, governance, and enterprise AI, with guests ranging from VC and CTOs to AI researchers and policy-focused voices. A hallmark is pragmatic, skeptical discourse that weighs business incentives, regulatory dynamics, and technical feasibility, making it valuable for listeners who want pragmatic context on how tech giants compete and how AI unfolds in real-world deployments.
