It's 1979, our final look at 70s Caine, and what a way to go: drenched in an upturned wreck, scuba-diving about with little Sally Field and 125-year-old Karl Malden in Beyond the Poseidon Adventure! It's the last in a triptych of late-70s Caine-nurtu... more
We're off to Africa where Michael Caine is now hunting slave traders who have kidnapped his wife. Yes, it's Ashanti - basically 1970s Taken. Part of a holy trinity of late 70s turkeys, prepare to be astounded by Caine's disinterest, dumbfounded by Pe... more

Started off ok but lost patience after a while. The host seems to have the idea. Critique the films and Caine His Co host seems smart but keeps wittering on using his modern moral compass (at the time lads that’s the way it was) and his own opinions on other characters and historical views. Shame as the idea was good
The problem with this podcast is that it doesn't celebrate Michael Caine but rather simply rip apart his films. One of them clearly does not even like the films, it feels like two blokes, one of whom likes the films of Michael Caine. who decided to rope in his mate, who has no interest in Michael Caine, into making a podcast with him.
Stumbled across this by accident. Very funny and informative. Highly recommended.
