  • Boring

I’m a foodie, and I thought this would be interesting. The first 11 minutes of the 26 minute podcasts were all introduction, ads, and reviews of products she got for free. Then the interview started, and the cookbook author spent several minutes telling an entirely ordinary story Ed of how she realized her mother’s recipes weren’t being passed down.

Andrea De Sica on Filmmaking Legacy & Yvonne Wonder’s Guide to Stress‐Free Family Travel
Q: Where did you film The Eyes of Others and how did you create the sense of an island that becomes a prison?
We shot on Isola di Ponza and nearby islands, then moved to Argentario in Tuscany to reuse similar landscapes and plants, mixing locations to simulate a single island that evolves from dream to confinement.
Andrea De Sica on Filmmaking Legacy & Yvonne Wonder’s Guide to Stress‐Free Family Travel
Q: What was the first emotion that gave you the idea for The Eyes of Others, and how did you approach directing it?
The first vision came from sailing the Isola di Ponza and imagining a nightmare under the sun; I wrote the screenplay based on this intuition and researched the true life of a historical Marquis to shape the story.
National Chocolate Chip Day and the World of Emilio Pucci : an interview with Idanna Pucci
Q: What can readers expect from the book's portrayal of Italy's cultural renaissance?
The book sketches a vivid, multi-faceted revival where fashion, film, art, and music converged, showing how ordinary people and extraordinary events together rebuilt a nation's confidence and international standing.

They reveal a hidden layer of strategy and risk he undertook, connecting him to pivotal historical moments that shaped Italy's postwar identity and reinforced the link between art, culture, and political history.
National Chocolate Chip Day and the World of Emilio Pucci : an interview with Idanna Pucci
Q: How did Emilio Pucci pivot from the wartime years to becoming a fashion icon?
His character—curiosity, imagination, and resilience—drove him to seize chances, often when less obvious paths presented themselves, including his decisive moves during and after the war that redirected his career into fashion and design.
