A relaxing (the narrator's delivery) if not spiritually & intellectually edifying podcast.
In a world of shallow thinking & veneered truth (even within the church), Banner of Truth offers depth of thought & truth of substance.

Everything the Banner of Truth produces is excellent, and this is no exception. Years of reading their magazine has taught me each article in it has value. Some may not look interesting at first, but when I read them, I realise how beneficial they all are. The podcast is the same way. I have thoroughly enjoyed each episode, and I cannot wait until Monday when the next one is released. Joshua does a great job as host. Very highly recommended. And to the Banner - thank you!!
I am very thankful under God for the Banner of Truth. This podcast is a real blessing and the host is clear and pleasant. Voices from the past are essential for us to hear because, though they had their blind spots, they weren’t the same blind spots that we have; and so they shine light in our dark and overlooked corners.
I’ve been a subscriber to the Banner magazine for many years. It’s great to have the option to enjoy some of the gold that has been mined out of the archives of this quality reformed periodical in audio form! The production quality is excellent and the presenters have great reading voices. We hope this will bring many more people into contact with the Banner Magazine and Banner books. Praise God for this resource !
I am really enjoying this podcast! Thanks so much!

Listeners of this program are drawn to deep dives into Christian theology, church history, and Puritan-era literature, with episodes ranging from biographical sketches of historic figures to discussions of doctrinal topics and editorial takes on Christian publishing. The show often centers on how past theologians and movements inform present faith, with a steady emphasis on doctrinal clarity, spiritual discipline, and practical applications for ministry and family life.
