It fills a gap left by The High Low (RIP) and whilst it isn’t book focussed, I really enjoy the pop culture discussions. I also enjoyed Charlie’s previous skincare podcast and this has all the elements I enjoyed the most - the chat and conversation. They are a great length too - I hate podcasts that are too long and feel like a chore. Spectacular. Give me 14 of ‘em.
this podcast feels like i’m on facetime with my friends catching up on the latest gossip and current affairs. i love having it to accompany my commute to work and look forward to it every week!
Genuinely look forward to it every week!

A conversational, culture-forward show featuring Abi Gibson and Charlie Perry that blends pop culture banter with current affairs and personal anecdotes. Episodes balance light, relatable chatter with sharper takes on media, fashion, and societal moments, often pairing celebrity-driven discussions with broader cultural analysis. The format remains warm, witty, and transparent, making it a go-to for listeners who want input-driven conversations, quick banter, and thoughtful commentary in roughly standalone episodes. This approach—informal yet informed—seems to resonate with a young, media-minded audience that values accessible analysis and a friendly, two-host dynamic.
