The episode three glowing lights is a wonderfully strange and suspenseful tale! Although the podcast is no longer around, anyone who loves true supernatural stories should at least hear this episode.
I was so hyped to listen to this but only found poor sound quality, poor organization, and some obnoxious guy 😂 this guy makes fun of people who are into true crime WHILE RECORDING HIS TRUE CRIME PODCAST! Sir this may not be the right ball game for you.
The latest show I see is Dec 2016????
It's okay. Most episodes are somewhat interesting... I can't get over the disparity in sound levels - the dude is way too loud compared to the woman.
This was so bad! I had to stop less than 3 minutes in due to that mans fake, over the top voice acting. Please stop doing that voice!
Very unprofessional. The female host is just so bad. She sounds very unsure of herself and they have no chemistry at all.
Not what it claims. Basically this is simply authors trying to promote themselves by telling mildly interesting or really boring stories. Shame on the people who put this out for trying to pass this off as anything else. Odd music and host's annoying voice are not cool and hip they are just lame. I would stick with solid true crime podcasts like Casefile.
The drama inflection in the male host's voice was over the top; it was a big turn off for me. Just talk already. I don't come to podcasts to be entertained, just informed. Also it sounds like he's at the bottom of a well. Those are technical things; from a personal angle, I prefer the scientific analysis over the paranormal stuff. They need to pick one or the other, not alternate between both. Basically they need to hire someone to revamp the whole podcast or end it altogether.
I used to like this show before that series of murder mystery episodes. Now these new hosts are awful. Just really, really unlistenable.
Just the narrator's opening sequence is uncanny and creepy enough.
Don't understand why some give this podcast low reviews? I love it and have recommended to my podcast review website. Check it out!
This podcast has halfway interesting topics but the way they present it and the host's voice just makes it unlistenable. I couldn't even make it past the second episode before I got bored and went to listen to a good podcast (true murder by Dan zupansky.. Look it up)
Having spent 28 years in Louisiana, I'm impressed by the way that quirky subtleties of the region are embraced in this serialized mystery series. I think moving in this direction was an incredibly positive decision and I've enjoyed following this complex tale.
I've only listened to the murder chronicles but I really enough them!
This was very disappointing. This is not what you want if you're looking for a podcast about strange crimes. They talk way to much about the author and what books they've written that I don't care about. None of the episodes sound even similar format wise. Like ones about a dramatic heavily worded murder story and ones a lady on the phone talking about something I would write in the third grade. They're cool topics just bad results. Like the hobos in the tunnels sounded really cool but it's just... more
