Really grateful for this resource. The topics are relevant and needed. I wish Jennie could consult missionaries in the field. I often share episodes with my missionary. This kind of real-world, mental health, normal mission struggle support is what, in my opinion, the church needs to provide for every missionary. Having this support as the NORM would make a profound difference for missionaries.
I have learned so much from Jennie on how to support my missionary, especially in the hard times. I’m super grateful for her mission specific knowledge and to know that my son can listen to her podcast as well while he is on his mission. Thank you Jennie!
This podcast has provided great insights and lessons on so many aspects of a mission. Jennie explains things clearly and provides valuable resources to help missionaries with a lot of the mental struggles of a mission. I just wish I had found her mission prep class before my missionary left!
We found this podcast at the perfect time, and it has been a gift for our family. Not only are Jennie’s topics and insights helpful for missionaries at all stages, but her tools and perspectives help parents and families navigate the challenges and emotions of supporting a missionary! Many episodes apply to school, employment, and parenting as well!
I was reminded of Jennie and her awesome coaching from a relative when I expressed to her that my missionary is struggling. Jennie responded to my email right away and gave us several options in how to help and support our missionary. We decided to check out the podcasts. They are awesome! She has so many topics that just individually speak to different needs! I would highly recommend having your missionary listen to them or just listening as a parent! I’m so grateful for her inspiration, advice... more
