It’s great to hear my friend Julio Ricardo Varela podcasting again. His voice is essential—extremely intelligent, progressive but also analytical and honest, and with a comprehensive and nuanced knowledge of the various facets of the Latino community in the US and overseas. He also draws great guests, even those who leave me shaking my damned head (Ruben Navarette for instance). Highly recommended.
